Thawing & Handling
Proper thawing is critical to maintaining the 95–98% viability our cells are tested at. Follow these steps for best results:
- Remove vial from cryostorage and thaw rapidly in a 37°C water bath
- Transfer cells to pre-warmed media immediately after thaw
- Centrifuge gently to remove cryomedium
- Resuspend in appropriate media for your application
- Use within 2–4 hours of thawing for optimal viability
